先週はコンベンションやセミナーの仕事が幾つか続きました。

ロケと違い、ホテルのボールルームなどで行われる

コンベンションやセミナーの仕事は

室内ゆえ、天候の心配も要らず、

エアコンも効いてるので快適なのですが、いかんせんライブなので、

ロケのように再テイクが出来ない分、緊張感があります。

ロケと違い、コンベンションの現場では

ケータリング・サービス（軽食サービス）が無いので

朝は各自、家で食べてくるか、自分で購入します

この日の現場はシェラトン・ワイキキのボールルーム。

一階に日本のコンビニ「ローソン」が入ってたので

僕はそこで朝ごはんように稲荷寿司を購入しました。

しかし、なんか内容が少ないような気が、、、。

最初は誰かが一つだけ食べて、商品棚に戻したのかと

思ったのですが、表記に４ピースと明記してあるので

どうやら５ピース用の容器に４ピースを入れての

日本ではあり得ない販売スタイルのようです。

無事に現場を終え、ディナーは会場を移し、

ロイヤル・ハワイアンホテルの海沿いのエリアへ。

ワイキキが雨雲が覆われた瞬間、大きな虹が出ました。

Last week I had several convention jobs . 

Compared to TV and commercial jobs which are shot mainly outdoors, conventions jobs take place in hotel ballrooms where theres AC( nice and cool), and the weather condition does not effect the show. The biggest difference is that the convention  jobs are live, so therefore cannot do re-takes like you can with TV and Commercial filming 

On set ( TV and commercials ) we have craft service but convention jobs do not provide such service.  The location yesterday was  at a ballroom in the Sheraton Waikiki so I went to the Japanese conveinece shop {Lawson ] located in the lobby area 

Here, I bought this sushi and noticed it looked like it was missing a piece. At first, I thought someone ate one, and put the rest back but It seems like the manufactors were using a 5 piece container for a 4 piece. This was confusing  and I am pretty sure I will not be allowed in Japan.

After the semminar , we moved to the lawn area of Royal Hawaiian Hotel for the dinner party

When the dark clouds creeped over Waikiki , a beautiful rainbow suruprised everyone
