Cherry blossoms in Edinburgh

Every spring, lots of cherry blossoms (sakura) bloom in Edinburgh! A large park called the "Meadows" has lots of cherry blossom trees and is a favourite spot to meet up with friends and enjoy the spring weather.

This park is right next to Edinburgh University, so students love going for a little walk there to get some air in between lessons.

At the Meadows there are also tennis courts, a golf course and a play area for young children.
